Returns Policy
We aim to make your online shopping experience with us as easy as possible and wish for your purchases to arrive in perfect condition. If you experience an dissatisfaction, please contact us at bek@maesiapothecary.com within 30 days of placing your order so we can work through the issue with you.
Please note: Only issues arising from items purchased from the Mäesi Apothecary website can be addressed by us. If you have purchased an item from one of our retailers, please refer to their store policies and contact them directly.
Due to the artisan and handmade nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. We recommend you check our ingredients list carefully or alternatively reach out via our contact form before you order regarding any specific skin or ingredient concerns. This will ensure you get the right products for your unique skin. If you are purchasing our products for the first time, we encourage you to start with the smaller sizes.
In some circumstances we may be able to credit or refund your order before shipping. If you select the refund option, we do charge a 10% re-stocking fee. This is due to credit card processing fees we are required to pay.
Sensitivities or Skin Reactions
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for our products that have been opened. This is because individual sensitivities or allergies to an ingredient can not be predicted by our formulator. We all have a unique skin profiles and chemistry and as such may react differently to skincare products. Our website lists all ingredients, so please consider these carefully before you make a purchase. We are very happy to answer any questions about our products if you need advice so please email us.
If you have a history of sensitivity, please patch test on a small area inside your wrist for 2-3 days. If your skin becomes irritated or shows signs of an allergic reaction, stop using the product immediately.
Samples
We do not sell or give away individual samples. On occasion, we may include one or more free samples with every online order. If you are new to Mäesi Apothecary, we highly recommend our starter sets which will allow you to immerse yourself fully in our skincare for 4 - 6 weeks.
